    Collage movie poster design for Charlie Chaplin’s screening.

    Poster is folded into eights. Slightly creased with several tiny cracks on edges. Few small stained spots at the back. Tiny holes on intersections. Movie poster is in large A1 format (82.5 x 57.7 cm). Very nice condition.

    Movie posters in our collection were promotional materials. Posters used on display in the cinemas across the former Czechoslovakia. They bear signs of their age.

    Milan Grygar is Czechoslovak audiovisual artist, painter and musician. His main passion re-occurring throughout his life was the relationship between the drawing and the sound. Milan Grygar has been very active graphic artist with over hundred movie posters and numerous number of book illustrations. Influenced by the post war neo Avant-garde tendencies and music, his movie poster designs are a pride of every collection.
